Im going on vacation to hawaii for 2 weeks over summer nxt year and i wanted to no how long they can go with out there mealies and water.

My personal procedure on receiving a new gecko is put them in their lightly misted and heated tub in a rack feed them after about 2 4 days and leave them be for at least a week. Females will do this when they become gravid so that s what they always say bulk them up before breeding so they have fat storage if they go on a food strike. But they become very thin. I find it handy to put about twenty crickets or less in the cage with my leopard gecko. All geckos require more consistent hydration.
A leopard gecko can go two weeks without food but it is best to feed him her ten crickets or more a week. A gecko with a skinny tail won t last long but one with a big thick tail can last a couple days to even over a week or two without food.
